The venue of the workshop is at HOTEL ACQUAVIVA, in between Desenzano del Garda and Sirmione.

The Hotel Acquaviva del Garda overlooks the shores of the lake. Its large park, swimming pools and private beach provide unforgettable moments of relaxation and full enjoyment of the beauty of the place. On the southern banks of the Lake Garda, Desenzano is a charming village and a popular summer resort. An excellent point for trips and excursions, Desenzano presents a noteworthy artistic, historic and archaeological heritage, starting from the Roman era. The core of the city develops around Malvezzi Square and the Ancient Harbour, with the XXVI century palaces by Todeschini, a famous local architect. The archaeological area with the ruins of a magnificent IV century Roman Villa having impressive multi-coloured and mosaic flooring, the Museum of archaeology, with one of the most ancient ploughs of the world and the panoramic tower of S. Martino della Battaglia are a must-see tourist attraction. Another site of interest is also the Castle, founded in the Middle Ages and recently renovated to offer a breath-taking view of the Lake.

Desenzano has also become the Garda destination best known for its entertainment opportunities, above all its nightlife. Desenzano also offers a variety of water sports.

Desenzano can be easily reached by train (it is on the high-speed train line connecting Milano, Brescia, Verona, Bologna, Venice…) and by car (on the main highway A4, exit Desenzano)
